Leukemia

The Cancer of the blood is known as Leukemia. The reason one suffers from Leukemia is that the DNA of the blood cells get damaged (the reason for DNA damage may be genetic or due to environmental factors). This cause an uncontrolled division of blood cells which accumulate and occupy more space than required and overpower the system causing complications. It is the cancer of the White Blood Cells.  Leukemia is considered to be a rare condition. With the advancements in medical science, there are a lot of treatments available for this condition.

Types of Leukemia
Leukemia is characterizedas four main types, Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. These four types are then categorized as Lymphocytic Leukemia and Myelogenous Leukemia.

Signs and Symptoms of Leukemia

Sweet Syndrome is a condition which causes fever and painful sores that appear throughout the body.

Methods of Early Diagnosis
With a lot of awareness regarding Leukemia being spread all across a lot of cases of Leukemia are being detected at early stages.
